Julie was born in Los Angeles, CA and her family moved to the Mojave Desert where she grew up in the shadow of the Sierra Nevadas and enjoying the expanse of the desert. 
She began her career as an artist studying graphic design at CSUN and moving through the West to develop into a career as a painter and an art teacher.
Julie currently lives in Millcreek, UT.
